The Merry Table: Christmas recipes and cheer for Friends of the Big Empty

This recipe book was curated by Becky Offutt and Kacy Sanders of Texas Ag Insurance as a fund raiser for Friends of the Big Empty. Friends of the Big Empty exists to educate the public about the history, heritage, and availability for tourism of public and private resources within the counties of Texas known as “The Big Empty”.Becky and Kacy both have a love of food and community. They enjoy cooking for family, friends, and putting on meals for their Texas Ag customers. They also help at the NOAH project fundraiser, “Taste of Country” by serving their layered desserts, chicken and dressing, and other specialties. They provide cookies for Knox County veterans’ meal. They also make desserts and help serve at the Wild Horse Prairie Days sponsors’ gala. Read more
